PIC Micro's For Beginners - Hardware
Hardware is essential for
PIC micro development, and you should
consider getting the following bits and pieces as essential PIC
programming;
- PICKit 2 Programmer
- Breadboard
- Wire Pack
- 18F45550
- 20Mhz Oscillator
- 2 * 22pF Capacitors
- 7805 (5V regulator)
- 9V Battery Clip Adaptor
- 1* 10uF Electrolytic Caps
- 1 * 0.1uF Ceramic Disc Caps
You don't need expensive breakout boards or
development tools, and in many cases, they will leave you restricted
to particular
PIC micro's or other hardware. CE sells an
Intro to PIC Programming kit for less then $50 that has all of
the listed items, and i have put together a few basic tutorials to
get you started toward your first program
